e secret chamber. David made his voice be heard to the Lord. Our worship should not be dictated by our circumstances, but our circumstances should dictate how much we need the Lord to hear our voice. And when we open our mouth, it should not be for complaint levied against our most righteous and benevolent Father, but to give Him praise for the wonderful things he has done. Yes, perhaps in this moment I might feel like the Lord has forsaken me because my trial is so vexing, but has not our Lord been there in times past? If the whole truth be told, as bad as it seems, could not things be much worse? Certainly yes, our Lord has been good. And yes, He will be good to me again. So, although I may not feel like giving Him praise over complaint, like David I make my voice heard in heaven and on earth.
