Jesus Sends You – John 20:21

“Then Jesus said again, “Peace be with you. As the Father sent me, I now send you.” John 20:21

Everyday should begin with understanding the mission the Lord Jesus has assigned for you to complete that day. As God sent Him to die for us, He sends us to lay down our lives in service to him. What a a wonderful set of daily objectives would be revealed to us if only we were to humble ourselves and ask Him for input. Every believer has a missional purpose; for this is the very reason we are given the Holy Spirit – to equip us for witness (Acts 1:8). Are you missing opportunities to be of service because you run ahead without the Lord? What good soldier seeks battle before getting the plan of attack from a commander? Therefore, one might deem it quite reckless to start the day without seeking the Lord’s direction and grace. This is the pathway to peace – doing the will of the Lord. So the next time you have a rough day and you feel no peace, look back to the beginning and determine if the Lord Jesus sent you with instructions that day. Get your peace today….seek Him now.
