I Did Not Know The Lord Was With Me – Genesis 28:16

“…..Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.” Genesis 28:16

Isolation causes one to feel abandoned. Isn’t it funny how we can discover that the Lord was with us the whole time? I know there are many good christian workers out there being promoted who have phenomenal skills, but has it been their skill alone that have elevated them? Perhaps the Lord was in the workplace and the christian soldier did not know it. Perhaps that sickness was not unto death because the Lord was there. Perhaps the mortgage was approved because the Lord was there. The real question are we looking for Him to be in the same place where we are other than on Sunday mornings? Is He in the workplace, schoolhouse, home, gym, and the like? The answer is yes, but unless you look to see Him, we might miss the divine. The prophet Isaiah, declares that the Lord wants to do a new thing, pay attention to it. As soon as possible you should seek the Lord and find Him in the place where you stand. He desires to accompany you everywhere, so let Him….see Him.
